Plastic Injection Toolmaker/Moldmaker (Reno)

Located in South Reno, near Lake Tahoe, Triad Plastic Technologies is an ISO 9001/ISO 13485 state-of-the-art injection molding company utilizing modern equipment and a very progressive, family-oriented working environment. We have an immediate opening for a journeyman Plastic Injection Mold-maker/ Tool-maker.

The qualified candidate will be experienced in building plastic injection molds, well versed in CAD/CAM programming, the setup and operation of CNC milling, EDM process. We utilize Solidworks, MasterCam, HAAS VMC, Makino EDM (sinker and wire), Mitsui surface grinders to design and build molds. Experience with these platforms is preferable. Candidate must provide their own tools. Industries served include medical, dental, gaming, and sporting goods.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our products and processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality inspection, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and complete associated reports.
  • Monitor production processes and verify product conformance.
  • Identify, document, and control nonconforming materials, including database entry and maintenance.
  • Participate in nonconformance disposition and root cause analysis.
  • Maintain document control and the Retain Library.
  • Collect and record data, including measurements for SPC spreadsheets when required.
  • Support other quality-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English (spoken, read, and written).
  • Prior experience or training in quality assurance or inspection.
  • Proficient in basic math (must pass a math skills test).
  • Familiarity with ANSI Y14.5 and ISO-based quality systems.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Windows-based software.

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Manager

About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on and experienced Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee the preservation, repair, and improvement of our facility infrastructure. This leadership role is responsible for managing all aspects of facility maintenance, including preventative maintenance, repairs, installations, and supervising support personnel. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and plumbing systems, along with proven leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, manage, and execute all infrastructure maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain and update the Triad ERP Maintenance Areas.
  • Supervise and train production supervisors and other personnel involved in infrastructure-related tasks.
  • Generate and manage purchase orders and preventative maintenance work orders.
  • Oversee infrastructure installations and removals as needed.
  • Manage and support any assigned maintenance staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven experience in general maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based software.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Triad preferred).
